Order a Crit’Air sticker to drive in low-emission zones in France
The Crit’Air sticker, or air quality certificate, is a compulsory national scheme that categorises vehicles according to their level of pollutant emissions. This system, introduced to improve air quality in urban areas, has become an essential part of driving in many French towns and cities.
The Crit’Air sticker is strictly compulsory for driving in low-emission zones (ZFE). Failure to display the sticker can result in a fine of €68 for light vehicles and €135 for heavy goods vehicles. The sticker must be visible on the windscreen and correspond to your vehicle’s technical specifications.
For French registrations, your sticker will be mailed directly to the address listed on your vehicle registration document. For foreign registrations, it will be sent to the address provided on your application form.
